The Minister of Public Health, Firas Al-Abyad, chaired the periodic meeting of the public guaranteeing bodies, in the presence of the Director of the National Social Security Fund, Muhammad Karaki, the Director of the State Employees’ Cooperative, Yahya Khamis, the Chief of Military Medicine, Dany Bashrawi, the representative of the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, Muhammad Desouqi, the representative of the General Directorate of Public Security, Joe Mezher, and representatives of companies Importing dialysis supplies.
Al-Abyad presented “the new mechanism that is being worked on in treating dialysis patients between the Ministry of Public Health, the Importers Syndicate and the Hospitals Syndicate.”
Al-Abyadh stressed that “this new mechanism ensures the continuity of treatment for dialysis patients without any interruption of medicines and supplies intended for their treatment, and without burdening them with any additional differences.”
