Antonio Banderas celebrated a new version of the Solidarity Gala that the “Starlite Foundation” organizes every year in Marbella, Spain. Several stars came to the party, but Richard Gere stole the show.
The American actor attended the celebration hand in hand with his wife, the Spanish publicist Alejandra Silva, who received an award for her philanthropic work at the foundation.
Gere claimed to be “very proud” of the work his wife does, as he told the press. “I am very excited because following the pandemic and having had such a bad time, a job is recognized that is not only mine, but that of everyone else,” said the woman.
It should be noted that the “Starlite” charity gala has been sponsored for thirteen years by Antonio Banderas, to support some projects such as his “Lágrimas y Favores” foundation, for the benefit of university students, cancer patients and people in a situation of social exclusion.
