Palakkad: The licenses of four bus employees have been suspended in the incident where they were traveling on a bus for Nemmara work. The licenses of drivers and conductors of SRT and Kings of Kollam buses have been suspended.
Passengers returning from a shooting spree at Nemmara Vallanki last Monday morning boarded the buses. Scenes of conductors boarding buses and giving tickets to passengers went viral on social media.
The RTO has also decided to send notices to the owners of both the buses. The RTO has received similar videos of other buses. There will be more action in the coming days.
This time a large crowd had come to see the Nemmara work fireworks. People travel like this every year following the shooting, but this time it was the spread of the video that led to the action.
