An anti-Semitic incident took place in the Polish parliament on Tuesday followingnoon: The right-wing radical politician Grzegorz Braun extinguished Hanukkah candles set up in the parliament building with a fire extinguisher. “Mr Braun, what have you done?” asked journalist Patryk Michalski from “Wirtualna Polska”, who witnessed the incident, on the X portal. “I put an end to it,” said Braun. Bystanders reportedly shouted for Braun to be ashamed of himself during the incident. He responded by saying, “Those who participate in this satanic cult should be ashamed.”
