Los Angeles, CA – A Florida woman has been formally charged with attempted murder following a shooting at the Beverly Hills home of singer Rihanna on Sunday, March 8. Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, allegedly fired an AR-15-style assault rifle at the residence while Rihanna was reportedly inside with her three children and partner, A$AP Rocky.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that Ortiz faces one count of attempted murder, along with 10 felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper. She is a licensed speech pathologist with no known connection to Rihanna or A$AP Rocky.
