Despite already having its own card game, Legends of Runeterra, Riot Games announced this week a new card game based on League of Legends, but which fits much more into the traditional universe of card games like Magic, with physical cards. . Called “Project K” the project is described as “a game using League intellectual property that promises to meet the needs of a different type of audience.”

Project K is an ambitious game that Riot describes as “the best card game out there and something you’ll really enjoy.” It was made to be played in groups, but two-player play also works.

The team behind the project aims to create a competitive scene that can start locally and expand to global tournaments.
