Britain’s prime minister has abandoned a televised debate between the candidates. The decision was made following the anchor collapsed. Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss, who are contesting to replace Prime Minister Boris Johnson, were discussing on the ‘Talk TV’ channel when the anchor fainted.
The incident followed a half-hour long debate on various issues including taxation, the rising cost of living and funding for the National Health Service. In a statement, Talk TV announced that host Kate Mack had decided to leave the debate despite her condition being stable.
