In January-March, the epidemiological situation in the Ulyanovsk region was characterized by an increase in the number of cases of influenza (by 5.7 times), hemorrhagic fever (by 3.4 times), meningococcal infection (by 3.3 times), gonococcal infection (by 1.9 times). ), acute intestinal infections (by 1.8 times), syphilis (by 20%), HIV (by 16.9%), pediculosis (by 13.7%) and active tuberculosis (by 5%). Such data was published by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ulyanovsk Region.

At the same time, the number of cases of acute infections of the upper respiratory tract (by 30.5%) and viral hepatitis (by 5.2%) decreased.
