Muscat: The Oman Pavilion at the Riyadh International Book Fair captivates visitors. Many people have come here in the past few days. One of the fascinating things regarding the pavilion is the many years old and rare manuscripts. There are 5,000 manuscripts here. Many of these date back more than 900 years. Manuscripts include biographies and Q&As of early Omani scholars. Manuscripts and other books of famous Omani authors in the fields of history, literature, Arabic language, jurisprudence, philosophy, oceanography, medicine and science are displayed in the Omani Pavilion. The book fair will be held at the Riyadh Front Convention Center on Riyadh Airport Road. Visiting hours are from 2 pm to 12 midnight only on Friday during the book festival which lasts till October 8. All other days from 11 AM to 12 PM.
