Patna – RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav advised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to get married as soon as possible during a press conference held by the opposition parties announcing their decision to fight together once morest the BJP in the upcoming general elections.
“Rahul completed the Bharat Jodo journey beautifully. He is an excellent orator in the Lok Sabha. Rahul has been doing well lately. This is not enough. Get married as soon as possible” were Lalu’s words. Rahul and other opposition party leaders laughed at Lalu’s advice
“Sometimes people say that the opposition is divided. But now united. Recently BJP leaders are using Hanuman’s name. But Hanumanji is with us.” – said Lalu.
The opposition met to find ways to face the BJP unitedly in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress, Trinamool, DMK, AAP, Samajwadi Party, CPM, CPI, RJD, JDU, NCP, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), JMM, PDP, National Conference, Muslim League, RSP and Kerala Congress (M) were present in the meeting convened by Nitish Kumar. 16 parties participated.
