Road Closure and Detours on Rue St-Gilles: Find Alternative Routes during Demolition Work

Since this Thursday morning and until Saturday included, as part of the demolition of the facade of the building located at 35 rue St-Gilles, this same street is hermetically closed to vehicle traffic in its portion between numbers 33 and 35.

Rue Saint-Gilles is a two-way street/dead end and is limited to local traffic (delivery) up to the area concerned, from rue sur la Fontaine and rue Trappé.

Deviations

A detour has been set up from the intersection of rue St-Gilles/rue sur la Fontaine and is limited to vehicles weighing less than 3.5 tonnes via rue sur la Fontaine, rue Frère-Michel and rue Trappé to find rue St- Gilles.

A diversion for heavy vehicles/TEC (more than 3.5 tonnes) has been set up from the intersection of boulevard de la Sauvenière and rue Saint-Gilles via boulevard d’Avroy, rue des Augustins, rue Louvrex, rue des Anges, rue de France to find rue Wazon.
