A robbery with homicide was registered this Monday followingnoon in the Pedro Aguirre Cerda commune, in the Metropolitan region.
Specifically, the event occurred around 1:00 p.m. inside an address located on Carlos Valdovinos street with 3 Oriente.
According to information from the Investigation police (PDI), a group between 4 to 6 subjects entered the house.
There, the individuals intimidated the residents who were inside the building into giving them different species.
At that time, there was a struggle between a man -approximately 57 years old- and the criminals, for which he was shot in the area of his chest when the unknown persons escaped from the place.
Despite the arrival of emergency teams at the site, as a result of the seriousness of the injury, the victim died at the Barros Luco Hospital.
