Al-Marsad Sports: Italian Roberto Mancini, coach of the Saudi national team, has chosen the main goalkeeper he will rely on in the Asian Nations Cup, currently being held in Qatar.
According to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, goalkeeper Raghed Al-Najjar will be coach Mancini’s bet horse to appear in the starting lineup for the national team in the Asian Cup.
Mancini decided to exclude goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi from Al-Akhdar’s final roster for the Asian Cup, and included Mohammed Al-Rubaie instead to be among his options, alongside the goalkeeper duo Ahmed Al-Kassar and Raghed Najjar.
