Rockers on Broadway is releasing a live charity album

A set of live performances by Tony and Grammy Award nominated artists including Micky Dolenz, Paul Williams, Michael Cerveris and LaChanze have been compiled into an album to benefit arts education.

“Rockers On Broadway: Live” incluye a Alex Brightman y Cervaris cantando “Under Pressure”, Dolenz de The Monkees interpretando “I’m a Believer”, LaChanze “Purple Rain”, Alice Ripley “Hallelujah”, Constantine Maroulis “No Rain” y Williams “The Rainbow Connection”.

Otras canciones en el álbum son “What About Us”, en la voz de Isabelle Gottfried; “December 1963 (Oh What a Night)”, interpretada por Christian Hoff y Donnie Kehr; “Dream a Little Dream”, de Emma Hunton; “The Show Must Go On” de Morgan James, “Space Captain” de Michael Lanning, y “Thugz Mansion/A Change Is Gonna Come” de Donald Webber.

The album offers a selection of live performances from “Rockers On Broadway” concerts over the last 28 years. Proceeds will support The PATH Fund’s ongoing initiatives dedicated to supporting arts education with scholarship and program funding.

“Out of an abundance of caution and to allow the Broadway community the time to focus on safely performing their shows, we have postponed our annual live concert, but rest assured we will still bring you the rock,” said the creator of Rockers, Donnie Kehr, and executive producer Cori Gardner, in a statement.
