According to the military, militant Palestinians in the Gaza Strip fired a rocket in the direction of Israel. The projectile fell in an open area near the border, the Israeli army said on Saturday. The Iron Dome air defense system was not activated. Warning sirens sounded in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, near the border in southern Israel.
