“The sale of Uruguayan Rodrigo Aguirre from Monterrey to América has been formally and completely closed. América will pay 2.5 million dollars to take the ‘Búfalo’ who will sign a 3-year contract with Las Águilas,” said Diego Medina, a reporter for TUDN.

The last meeting between the parties took place on Tuesday night to officially close the signing of the Uruguayan striker.

In the next few hours Rodrigo Aguirre will be traveling to Mexico City to introduce himself to his new club.

The Uruguayan was being pursued by other teams such as Santos Laguna or Pachuca, but finally, he agreed to go to Club América for the Apertura 2024.
