Rokiškėnai joins the initiative to open the doors of organizations to the disabled

This year, for the first time, Rokiškis VšĮ “Jautri liði” joins this initiative and together with the organizers VšĮ SOPA invites companies and organizations to register by April 7.

According to Irma Rutkauskienė, director of Public Enterprise “Jautri riði”, DUOday can be attended by all Rokiškis employers – from the factory to the city library. It is important that the disabled person has the opportunity to come to the organization and spend the day in the working environment. Participation in DUOday is a simple and concrete way to open the doors of your organization to disabled people, give them the opportunity to discover the labor market, observe the company’s work processes, perform some tasks as possible, and communicate with the team.

Over the course of three years, more than a hundred national organizations joined the DUOday initiative: the Office of the President, the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, the Swedish and French embassies in Lithuania, Swedbank Lithuania, Telia Lietuva, Western Union Lithuania, Decathlon Lithuania, Lithuanian Post, “Rimi Lietuva”, “Yara Lietuva”, “CV-Online LT”, “McDonald’s”, Vilnius University and many other business enterprises, public and public sector organizations.

If you want to join the DUOday host organizations, register and fill out the form by April 7. More information at www.duoday.lt
