After being vaccinated against a coronavirus, there is a chance of contracting coronavirus, but not because of the vaccine itself. This was reported by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.
“The reason will not be vaccination, but subsequent infection with the virus. In this case, a person can get sick,” he writes with reference to the source. RIA Novosti… – If symptoms of ARVI appear in a vaccinated person, you should immediately consult a doctor and do a PCR test.
At the same time, the vaccine against COVID-19 cannot give a positive result of the PCR test, since the testing checks for the presence of an active disease, and not human immunity, the Rospotrebnadzor noted. Vaccination against coronavirus is underway in all Russian regions. To date, four drugs for COVID-19 are available in the country: Sputnik V and Sputnik Light, EpiVacCorona and KoviVak.
Formerly head of Rospotrebnadzor urged not to listen “bad advice” about refusing to vaccinate, because it threatens disastrous consequences. She noted that it is impossible to relax now, and refusal or any indulgence of “requirements that were developed in a difficult, intense battle with infection” can worsen the situation. Herd immunity is needed to change the situation, and the best way to get it is through vaccinations.
