Royal Caribbean International cancels cruises on four ships at short notice and is temporarily pausing them
Worldwide, the current Corona situation means that shipping companies sometimes have to cancel cruises at very short notice – these cancellations are very often related to changed official regulations.
The US shipping company canceled some cruises for four ships stationed there yesterday, Friday, due to the corona situation in Florida. Some of the customers were surprised by the cancellations at short notice, because some cruises should start today. Only one of the four affected ships is scheduled to start once more this month.
These cancellations were announced yesterday followingnoon:
- Symphony of the Seas: Cancellation of cruises to / from Miami from January 8th to 29th, 2022 – service resumed on January 29th, 2022
- Jewel of the Seas: Cancellation of cruises from / to Miami from 08.01. until February 20th, 2022 – resumption of work on February 20th, 2022
- Serenade of the Seas: Cancellation of cruises from / to Tampa from January 8th, 2022 to April 2022 – Commencement of work in April 2022 following the planned stay in the shipyard
- Vision of the Seas: Postponement of the restart from January 24th, 2022 in Port Everglades to March 2022
