Russia and China have agreed on the main parameters of an agreement on the construction of the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline, Putin said during talks with Xi Jinping.

“Practically all the parameters of this agreement have been agreed upon. This is 50 billion cubic meters of gas,” Putin said.

“Russian business is able to meet the growing demand from the Chinese economy for energy resources, both within the framework of current projects and those that are currently being negotiated. The total volume of gas supplies by 2030 will be at least 98 billion cubic meters. Plus 100 million tons of liquefied natural gas,” he said.
