Russia to team up with Iran to produce cars

Iran plans to export its products to Russia, which will solve the problem of the shortage of some spare parts and software that has arisen in our market due to Western sanctions. At the same time, the Russian side will help finance the order of high-quality components. In addition, Iran has technologies and production lines for the production of truck cabs and a number of parts for them, with the exception of engines.

In the coming months, the Iranian company Iran Khodro Diesel may start selling the Ataman mainline tractor in Russia, which is a converted version of the first generation Mercedes-Benz Actros. At the same time, Iranians receive truck cabs from China. Thus, Chinese automakers are also likely to join Russian-Iranian cooperation.
