Federal Research Center for Research and Development of Immunobiological Preparations named following V.I. M.P. Chumakov Russian Academy of Sciences (Polio Institute) plans to produce more than 1.9 million doses of a new polio drug by the end of 2024. This was reported on August 14 in the press service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
– The new polio vaccine “Poliovaxin” will replace the foreign vaccine that was previously used in the Russian National Immunization Schedule.
