According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry quoted by RIA Novosti, an Embraer Legacy private passenger plane crashed in the Tver region north of Moscow on its way from Moscow to St. Petersburg on the 23rd, killing all 10 people on board. Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Russian mercenary group Wagner Group, was on the passenger list of the crashed plane.
Some media reported that the jetliner that crashed was Priggin’s private plane. It has not yet been confirmed whether Priggin was on board or whether he died.
Prigozin led the Wagner Group to launch a coup once morest the Russian armed forces in June this year, but it failed.
