PERM, October 21. /TASS/. The Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin proposed to include Belarusian clubs in the composition of participants in Russian professional leagues in most sports.
“It is proposed to include Belarusian teams in [российские] professional leagues in almost all team sports,” Matytsin said at an extended meeting of the boards of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus at the forum “Russia is a sports power.” “We have gained some experience, we will resolve issues with regulatory support, the most important thing is to determine which teams in Belarus are showing interest.”
Dynamo Minsk plays in the Kontinental Hockey League, and the Minsk club plays in the VTB United Basketball League.
