Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov announces that two Russian missiles hit a hotel in his city yesterday evening. The strike left eleven people injured, including one who was “in very serious condition.” “Turkish journalists are among the victims“, he adds, without specifying the number. The police, for their part, reported that a journalist from a foreign publication was injured.

Several other buildings, including two residential buildings, as well as cars were also damaged by the strike, the mayor said. According to Oleg Synegoubov, governor of the Kharkiv region, the two Russian S-300 missiles hit the hotel, located in the Kyivskyi district and inside which there were 30 civilians, around 10:30 p.m. (8:30 p.m. GMT). Nine of the eleven injured were hospitalized and two were treated on site, the governor added on Telegram.
