At least four people were killed and nine others injured in Russian strikes between Saturday and Sunday on the southern city of Kherson, bombarded almost daily by Moscow’s army, the regional governor said.
“Last night, the Russian army bombed the city center of Kherson,” lamented the regional governor, Oleksandr Prokudin, in a message on Telegram. According to the official, “a shell hit a residential building”, killing “an 87-year-old man and his 81-year-old wife” on the spot. Another resident of Kherson, “aged 54”, “suffered head trauma due to (this) explosion” and “leg injuries”.
Elsewhere in the center of Kherson, emergency services “discovered the body of a dead man while clearing the rubble”.
