The rebellion of the Russian private military company “Wagner” has had a considerable impact on China, which saw Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as a teaching material for “Taiwan’s military unification.”
Although it is a big risk for a military “rebellion” to occur in China, many people believe that the People’s Liberation Army is strongly led by Chinese President Xi Jinping, and that an incident like the Wagner Rebellion will not occur in China.
However, he may distance himself from the Putin administration, which was unable to prevent Wagner’s rebellion.

The Russian mercenary group Wagner’s uprising ended in failure through the mediation of President Lukashenko of Belarus, and the leader Prigozhin “exiled” to Belarus. Although Russia’s military “internal conflict” was avoided, it is said that the impact of this incident on the Xi Jinping administration in China was not small.

China’s Xinhua News Agency initially did not report the incident, and Chinese authorities also carefully avoided mentioning it. That is why it was such a sensitive incident that it was difficult for China to express its stance.

Russia’s most important ally, Chinese President Xi Jinping, has always sided with President Putin in the Russo-Ukrainian war, and has also acted as a mediator for a ceasefire. The rebellion must have made the Chinese realize that they must take into account the possibility that the Putin regime might be overthrown from within one day.

What is interesting is that there was no contact from Putin to Xi Jinping when the incident occurred.
