It was developed on the basis of its famous predecessor “Yak-130”, which is popular in many countries of the world due to its efficiency and versatility.
It is worth noting that the Yak-130M is the result of the efforts of engineers at the Yakovlev Design Bureau for many years, knowing that the Yak-130 was developed in the 1990s in response to the need for a modern aircraft to replace the old Il-39 trainer aircraft.
But with the passage of time and the development of technologies, it became clear that the Russian army needed a modified model of the Yak-130 aircraft for training and combat that conforms to modern standards and conditions.
The Yak-130M is equipped with modern command and control systems and flight equipment that allows simulating the flights of various modern combat aircraft, including the fifth-generation Su-57 and the 4++ generation MiG-35. These systems and equipment allow activating various training modes, including aircraft movement in combat conditions.
The Yak-130M has been equipped with modernized turbojet engines that will ensure high thrust, maximum speed of up to 1,050 km/h and altitude of up to 12,500 meters.
The aircraft can carry up to 3,000 kilograms of payload, including guided and unguided missiles, unguided bombs, cannons and other modern weapons.
The Yak-130 can not only carry out training missions, but also combat missions, as it can be used to support ground forces, carry out aerial reconnaissance missions, and other missions.
