Very drunk, a 37-year-old man caused a traffic accident near Saalfelden-Harham on Tuesday evening. The man suffered injuries.

On Tuesday evening, the Pinzgauer caused a hit-and-run traffic accident while driving his car on the B 311 (Pinzgauer Straße) from Saalfelden towards Zell am See. The police reported this.

First, the driver hit traffic jams on the side of the road in the Harham district, then drove on towards the Gerling district and hit a tree there. The impact caused the car to overturn and remain on its roof.

The 37-year-old local man suffered unspecified injuries, but was able to free himself and get help. A car driver following behind observed the first accident in the Harham area and called the police.

An alcohol test on the driver of the accident showed a value of 1.66 per mille. His driving license was confiscated and he will be reported to the relevant authorities. The 37-year-old went to the Tauern Clinic in Zell am See on his own.
