Saarland state policy strictly towards the end of the SR – media

Saarbrücken – The Saarland Prime Minister Anke Rehlinger (SPD) strictly rejects a merger of the Saarländisches Rundfunk (SR) with other public broadcasters in Germany. Such mergers didn’t save any money, she said on Wednesday before the state parliament in Saarbrücken. “I think they will come at a heavy price, conversely.” Rehlinger also received support for her position from opposition leader Stephan Toscani.
