Sagrada Esperança receives Libolo with favorite status – Jornal OPaís

This followingnoon, Sagrada Esperança da Lunda-Norte hosts Recreativo do Libolo do Cuanza-Sul, at the Dundo Stadium, starting at 3:00 p.m., as part of the schedule for the seventh round of the first round of the 46th edition of the National Championship, Girabola 2023/2024.

This match did not take place on the date initially scheduled by the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) due to the involvement of the Lundas in the group stage of the Confederation Cup, known as Nelson Mandela.

Within the four lines there will be five titles, four of which are from the Calulo formation and one from the diamondiferous ones.

In this match, the hosts entered as favorites, judging by the moment that the Libolenses have been going through. In the previous round, the Cuanza-Sul team was beaten by Kabuscorp do Palanca, with four unanswered balls.

The four-time national champion currently occupies the relegation zone, that is, 14th place, with just six points. In turn, Roque Sapiri’s men are in fourth place with 21 points.

Here are the results seen in this round: União de Malanje 2-1 Interclube, São Salvador do Zaire 1-1 Sporting de Cabinda, Bravos do Maquis 0-0 Desportivo da Huíla, Académica do Lobito 0-0 Wiliete de Benguela, 1º de Agosto 0 -1 Kabuscorp do Palanca.

This journey will end when Petro de Luanda and Desportivo da Lunda-Sul face each other.
