Vienna – Red Bull Salzburg has won the duel for the top spot in the ICE ice hockey league. The defending champions defeated Pustertal 2-1 on Tuesday and toppled the Wolves from the top spot. The VSV lost the second top game of the 8th round at home once morest Fehervar 1:2 and fell behind the Hungarians in fourth place. The KAC won once morest the Vienna Capitals 5:2, Linz and Vorarlberg also celebrated victories. Graz is still without a win and is at the bottom of the league together with runner-up Bozen.
