Friedrich Schmidhuber has a lot to tell following 43 years in the executive. For three and a half decades he was with the police state traffic department, which he then headed from autumn 1995.

Up to and including June 30, Colonel Friedrich Schmidhuber is head of the regional traffic department (LVA) of the Salzburg police, in which 130 officers are on duty. Then (un)retirement awaits the passionate amateur athlete (cycling, hiking, skiing) and family man (two grandchildren). In 1987, the now 62-year-old from Bischofshofen, who had joined the gendarmerie in 1980, came to the police traffic department following completing the officer course.
