GMUNDEN. The summer is slowly coming to an end – also at the Salzkammergut Festwochen Gmunden. But even in autumn, the aim is to provide inspiration with a wide range of cultural offerings.
As usual, the autumn program of the Festival Weeks is cross-genre: there is down-to-earth folk music with Gstanzlsingen, but also great literature with Klaus Maria Brandauer, music with Benjamin Herzl and Ingmar Lazar and a children’s concert by the Salzburg Philharmonic. In a separate item on the program, Elena Uhlig and Fritz Karl will reflect on love with screamingly funny profundity.
Verena Altenberger touches with Christmas poems and stories. The internationally acclaimed actress and two-year lover, together with Rafael Fingerlos, Julia Hagen, Sascha El Mouissi and the Ensemble Tschejefem, will focus on what connects art in the Christmas concert inspired by Franz Welser-Möst and will allow folk and classical music to merge.
