Samsung Galaxy S26 Preorders: Get It “On Us” at T-Mobile (No Trade-In!)

T-Mobile is making a significant play for new smartphone customers with a compelling offer on Samsung’s newly released Galaxy S26 lineup. The carrier is advertising the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra as “on us,” meaning substantial savings for those looking to upgrade. Notably, the most attractive deal – a full credit towards the Galaxy S26 Ultra – doesn’t require a trade-in or porting your number from another provider, a departure from typical carrier promotions. This deal is particularly noteworthy as T-Mobile has recently been recognized as the best mobile network in the US, according to Ookla Speedtest.

The Galaxy S26 series, unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, is set to hit the market on March 11. T-Mobile’s aggressive promotion aims to capitalize on the launch excitement and attract customers with a straightforward path to owning Samsung’s latest technology. The deals vary slightly depending on the model, but the potential savings are substantial, making it a prime time to consider switching or upgrading.

Galaxy S26 Ultra: A Flagship for Free?

The headlining offer centers around the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. T-Mobile is offering the 256GB version of the phone for “free” – effectively a $1,299.99 credit applied over 24 months – when customers sign up for a new line and the Experience Beyond plan with AutoPay. A one-time connection fee of $35 will apply. The Experience Beyond plan costs $100 per month (plus taxes and fees) and includes a robust suite of benefits beyond unlimited talk, text, and 5G premium data. These perks include subscriptions to Netflix (Standard with ads), Apple TV, and Hulu, unlimited mobile hotspot access, in-flight connectivity, annual phone upgrade eligibility, and a five-year price guarantee.

International travelers will also benefit from the Experience Beyond plan, with unlimited text and 30GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico, and unlimited text with 15GB of high-speed data in over 215 other countries.

S26 and S26+: Options with Different Requirements

Although the S26 Ultra deal is the most eye-catching, T-Mobile is also offering promotions on the standard Galaxy S26 and the S26+. The Galaxy S26, available for $899, can be obtained with $899.99 in bill credits over 24 months on the Experience More or Go5G Plus plans with AutoPay, and does not require a trade-in or port-in. The Galaxy S26+ requires a trade-in to receive up to $1,100 off, with $1,099.99 in bill credits available over 24 months when paired with the Experience More or Go5G Plus plans and AutoPay. The Experience More plan costs $85 per month (plus taxes and fees) and includes unlimited talk, text, and 5G premium data, along with Netflix (Standard with ads) and Apple TV subscriptions, 60GB of mobile hotspot, in-flight connectivity, phone upgrade eligibility every two years, and a five-year price guarantee. It also offers unlimited text and 15GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico, and unlimited text with 5GB of high-speed data in other countries.

What’s New with the Galaxy S26 Lineup?

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series brings iterative improvements across the board. The base S26 model features an Exynos 2600 APU, which Samsung claims is more powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the previous generation’s S25. It also boasts 60W wired fast-charging and a privacy function for the display. The S26+ offers a larger 6.7-inch 3120×1440 QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and increased battery capacity. The S26 Ultra, as the flagship, is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 NPU, a 6.9-inch screen, enhanced 50MP telephoto and ultra-wide lenses, an included S-Pen stylus, a more durable Gorilla Glass Armor display, and improved integration with Google’s Gemini AI.

As Samsung continues to refine its flagship devices, T-Mobile’s promotional offers provide a compelling incentive for consumers to experience the latest innovations. The availability of these deals, coupled with T-Mobile’s network performance, positions the carrier as a strong contender in the competitive smartphone market. The long-term impact of these promotions on market share and customer acquisition will be closely watched in the coming months.

What remains to be seen is how these deals will affect the broader smartphone landscape and whether other carriers will respond with similar offers. The release of the Galaxy S26 series and T-Mobile’s aggressive promotions signal a dynamic period for consumers seeking the latest mobile technology.
