San José Parish: December Celebrations and Anniversary of the Adoration Chapel

by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

San Jose Parish Announces December Celebrations

This December, San Jose Parish invites everyone to participate in a series of special celebrations, highlighting faith, family, and community. The festivities kick off this Sunday, December 8th, the Day of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

Marking a Milestone: 14 Years of Perpetual Adoration

The day holds a double meaning for the parish, marking not only a celebration of Mary’s Immaculate Conception, but also the 14th anniversary of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. The milestone will be commemorated with the recitation of the Holy Rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament at 7 a.m. Immediately following, at 7:45 a.m., the first Holy Mass of the day will be celebrated.

Throughout the remainder of the day, the parish will host two additional Masses: one at 10 a.m., which will include the Consecration of Children to Mary, and another at 8 p.m. to further celebrate the Conception of Mary.

Advent Gatherings: Faith and Community Collaboration

Continuing the spirit of communal faith, every Monday of Advent, families from the parish will gather in homes within the community for a special event.

The gatherings, a time for reflection, prayer, and fellowship, will see neighbors coming together to share the spirit of the season.

This Monday, December 9th, the gathering will take place at 7:15 p.m. at the Ranieri Family home, located at Maradona 2348. Attendees are invited to bring the image of the Baby Jesus from their nativity scenes for a special blessing.

Celebrating the Feast of the Holy Family

As December draws to a close, the parish extends an invitation to all married couples to participate in the Feast of the Holy Family celebration on Sunday, December 29th at 10 a.m.

The celebration will include a special moment of renewing marriage vows. Couples interested in participating are asked to register at the Parish Secretariat, or contact them via phone at 412026 or WhatsApp at 3496-499925.
