However, the Abshir platform under the Home Ministry has revealed that re-entry visas 60 days after the expiration date cannot be extended online.

Sponsors from Saudi Arabia can renew their work electronically while the worker is abroad. Officials said the re-entry period could be extended electronically only if the worker was out of the country. Those wishing to extend the re-entry must first pay the fee. After paying the fee, the re-entry should be extended through the Abshir platform. The owner of the iqama must be abroad. Iqama should be valid and the re-entry period should not exceed two months.
