Saudi Airlines flights to Istanbul resume after more than two years of stopping

Al-Marsad newspaper: Saudi Airlines announced the resumption of its flights to the Turkish state of Istanbul, more than two years following its suspension.

And the Turkish news agency “DHA” reported that the first scheduled flight in two years will start today, Saturday, from Riyadh and Jeddah to Istanbul Airport.

Flights from Jeddah and Madinah to Istanbul will also be conducted alternately throughout the week. Riyadh flights will be arranged 3 days a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The Saudi airline is also scheduled to operate flights from Madinah to Istanbul, on the 11th of this month. The Turkish news agency pointed out that the flights will be operated on wide-body aircraft such as the Airbus A330.

And Saudi Airlines had suspended all international flights, in March of 2020, following the spread of the Corona virus around the world, to gradually return and resume.
