RIYADH – Saudi Arabia will host a ranking tournament in snooker for the first time in its history. The prize money will be 25 lakh dollars. Only the World Championship offers more prize money in snooker. The tournament will be known as Saudi Arabia Masters. The tournament will be held in Riyadh from August 31 to September 7. It was agreed to hold the tournament in Riyadh next year. Six Saudi players will be given a wild card entry.
Saudi Arabia will also host the non-ranking Riyadh Season World Masters Snooker next month.
