Saudi Investment Fund Shifts Focus to Private Credit Amidst Liquidity Concerns

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 22, 2025 – Saudi Venture Capital (SVC), a prominent state-backed investor managing over US$3 billion in assets, is recalibrating its investment approach.The firm is poised to considerably increase its investment in private credit funds, anticipating a surge in demand within the Kingdom’s financial landscape.

The strategic adjustment, revealed this week, will see SVC dedicate half of its new investments to both private credit and equity, a considerable increase from approximately one-third last year. The remaining capital will continue to be directed towards venture funding initiatives.
