Recently, scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomical Research (MPIA) in Germany published a paper in the “Science” magazine. The content stated that there is a planet “Gliese486b” that is very similar to the Earth at a distance of 26.3 light years from the Earth. The structure of Gliese486b is very similar to that of the Earth and Venus. There is a metal core inside. The overall size is about 1.3 times that of the Earth, the mass is 2.8 times, and the surface gravity is about 1.7 times.

The galaxy where Gliese486b is located has a red dwarf star at its center with a mass about 30% of the sun. The period of Gliese486b’s rotation around the red dwarf is approximately 1.5 Earth days. And since Gliese486b has the same rotation and revolution period as the moon “tide locked”, this also means that Gliese486b always faces the red dwarf star of the galaxy on the same side.

However, since the temperature of red dwarfs is much lower than that of the sun, the surface temperature of Gliese486b is 430 degrees Celsius, which is very similar to Venus. Scientists speculate that Gliese486b should be the same as Venus, with hot lava flowing on the surface. But scientists speculate that the atmosphere of Gliese486b should not be denser than that of Venus.

Scientists said that although Gliese486b may be detrimental to human survival, it actually helps to study how “rocky planets” maintain the atmosphere and structure of the atmosphere.
