Near Dinant, in the province of Namur, several teenagers were injured during a scout camp, reports Het Laatste Nieuws. Three scouts were driving alone in a field in the night from Saturday to Sunday with an uninsured and unregistered car. The 17-year-old driver lost control of the steering wheel and struck the other members of the group while they were sleeping.

Several teenagers were hit and suffered minor injuries. One of them, a 13-year-old boy, had to be taken to hospital. He is not in danger. The 17-year-old driver was arrested and questioned, reports the Namur prosecutor’s office. He was released around 3 a.m. The other two young people and their parents were also questioned. How exactly the three scouts arrived at the vehicle is unclear.
