Search and Rescue: Submarine Mission to Recover Titanic’s Wreckage

2023-06-19 14:47:00

A rescue mission is underway in the Atlantic Ocean following the disappearance of a submarine used to observe the wreckage of the Titanic, reports the BBC. Currently, it is not yet known how many people were on board the missing submersible. The Boston Coast Guard is mobilized to find him.

Underwater trips are regularly made to the wreckage of the Titanic, and an observation mission lasts a few hours or a few days, depending on the companies that take experts and tourists to the depths.

The BBC notes that a private company used to this kind of expeditions recently posted on its social networks that it was starting a new mission to the Titanic. But nothing says that it is one of his submarines that is currently wanted.
