Vienna – Ex-Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (ÖVP) reacted on Friday to rumors of an imminent criminal complaint for false testimony. “The allegations are false and we look forward to the truth finally coming to light and the allegations also proving to be unfounded in court,” Kurz wrote on X, formerly Twitter. He and his team were “informed by several journalists”. He finds it “remarkable and legally not unobjectionable” that “the media are once once more informed regarding the status of the proceedings before those affected”.
