Sébastien Daziano appointed Chairman of the Board

Lydec recently announced the appointment of Sébastien Daziano as Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Guillaume Pepy.

“The Board of Directors, which met on July 7, 2022 at the Company’s headquarters, unanimously adopted the decision to appoint Sébastien Daziano as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lydec”, indicated a company statement. Mr. Daziano will assume his duties from July 7, 2022 during this transition period where the entire Board of Directors and management are mobilized to obtain the necessary authorizations for the transfer of Lydec to SUEZ.

The Board took the opportunity to pay tribute to the action of Guillaume Pepy for the development of Lydec during his term as Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors which ended following his taking up a new position in another large company and thanked him for his commitment and involvement throughout his mandate.

Sébastien Daziano is a law graduate, a graduate of Sciences Po and a former student of the ENA. He was sub-prefect in Nancy, foreign affairs adviser at the Quai d’Orsay, chief of staff to the Minister for Foreign Trade and adviser to the Minister of the Interior in France.

In May 2019, he joined the SUEZ group as director of executive coordination, institutional relations and security. He was a lecturer in economics at Sciences Po from 2005 to 2018. Since January 18, 2022, he has been Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ SA, now owned by Veolia.
