Second dose of Kovid vaccine; Saudi Ministry of Health denies campaigns

Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Health has denied rumors circulating on social media about the second dose of Kovid Wax. The ministry has denied rumors that the second dose of Kovid Wax has been delayed in Saudi Arabia for fear of side effects.

The ministry said on Twitter that the delay in the global distribution of the vaccine had led to the delay in the second dose and that all other campaigns were wrong. On April 10, the ministry officially announced that all bookings for the second dose would be postponed. Those who received the first dose of the vaccine were also informed about the postponement of the second dose through the Sihati application. The ministry has said that the release date of the second dose will be announced through the app itself. The second dose of the vaccine will be available directly to those over 75 years of age without an appointment. A ministry spokesman said the schedule of the second dose would be announced depending on the availability of the vaccine. Muhammad al-Abdul Ali informed.
