Secretariat of Returnees begins training for Paraguayans who returned to the country

Assumption, IP.- The Secretariat of Development for Repatriates and Connational Refugees of the Presidency of the Republic begins this week the training of eighty people who returned to the country and seek their economic reintegration through the Support Program for Returned Entrepreneurs.

These are the people registered in this First Call of the year 2015. The sessions will take place this Monday and Wednesday from 08:00 and will last until 16:00. For the first time this initiative moves to the interior of our country.

The event will take place in the Postgraduate room of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Asunción, San Lorenzo University Campus, with 40 micro-entrepreneurs from Central and other departments.

The training will continue on Wednesday, February 4, with another 40 Cordilleran micro-entrepreneurs, and this workshop will be held at the headquarters of the Cordillera Government.

Through these activities, it is intended to provide the necessary capacity to develop their businesses, expressing their ideas in a document that will serve as part of the selection process of the ventures that will be supported technically and economically.

It should be noted that in 2014, 111 micro-enterprises benefited with subsidies worth Gs. 1,576,697,700. Regarding this, the minister of the Returnees Secretariat, Luis Alberto Bogado Poisson, stated that it is planned to grant subsidies to at least 167 micro-entrepreneurs this year.
