Washington: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky left for Washington on Wednesday to meet with President Joe Biden. U.S. He will address the Congress. This is Zelensky’s first trip outside of Ukraine since Russia’s invasion began in February.

Zelensky tweeted that the purpose of the visit is to improve Ukraine’s defense and weapon systems. The visit comes as Congress votes to back $4.5 billion (regarding Rs. 3.7 lakh crore) in emergency aid to Ukraine and the Pentagon’s decision to provide surface-to-air missiles.

Biden is looking forward to the visit and Zelenskiy’s address to the Congress shows that Ukraine is the US. White House press secretary Caryn Jean-Pierre said the support will be clear.
