The Puerto Rico Seismic Network (PRSN) reported early today, Tuesday, that an earthquake was reported at around 12:44 in the morning.
According to the agency, the earthquake had an intensity of 4.8 degrees, a depth of 23 kilometers and was registered in the town of Carolina.
The PRSN ruled out a tsunami advisory, warning or watch for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
