Selena Gomez released a new video for her song “Dance Again” on Thursday, which she hopes will bring some joy to her large fan base.
The singer quickly recognized the time of release amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

On Instagram, she wrote: “It feels a little strange to release something so light-hearted in the middle of such a difficult time for our world, but I also think it is a good memory that we can do it together.”
In the video, Gomez wears a long curly bob and a chic white dress and dances alone in a huge, dramatically lit, yet empty room. Along with the video, she also released a new line of clothes inspired by “Dance Again” and donates a portion of the proceeds to the entertainment industry, which was hit hard by the pandemic.
The money goes to MusiCares, the recording academy nonprofit, who set up a COVID-19 aid fund to help the music community, many of whom have become unemployed due to the almost complete closure of the entertainment industry.
